Bistro Thank you concert

A huge shout-out to all the won­der­ful per­formers who par­ti­cip­ated in the Thank You con­cert for Helen and Rain­er Daniels at the Port Moody Legion this afternoon/evening! Such a ter­rif­ic event. I am sure the guests of hon­our were exhausted but replete with music­al joy.

From ukeleles to the jazz jam ses­sions, it was a won­der­ful con­cert. And such a turnout of audi­ence mem­bers! A great long queue out­side such that some people wound up leav­ing, sadly. Mind=blown.

I loved when Renny sang “Walk Between Rain­drops,” by Don­ald Fagan. I just dis­covered that song a few days ago, and was think­ing Gord and I could play that one in the Itty Bitty Big Band! Nice to know it works so well!
